Recording Google Voice calls can be a useful feature but you need to check with your state and federal laws before using this feature. Some states require both parties consent to any recording while other states require only one party consent.
- Click the gear icon and select Settings.
- Click the Calls tab.
- Select the checkbox next to Call Options.
- Click Save changes.
During a call, press 4 at any time to record your incoming call. You can do it when you first accept a call, or any time after it’s started. To stop the recording, press 4 again or hang up. The recorded calls are placed in your Google Voice account “inbox”.
